Geneva V. Leach, 73 of Glouster passed away
Tuesday June 30, 2009 at Doctor's Hospital in
Nelsonville. Born April 27, 1936 in Glouster,
she was the daughter of the late Denver and
Irene Elizabeth Mayle Kennedy. She graduated
from Glouster High School.
She is survived by three sons, Harold
(Florette) Leach, Tim (Tracey) Leach, and Mike
Leach all of Glouster; seven grandchildren,
Jason (Michelle), Elizabeth and Aaron Leach,
Beth, Jeff, Amber, and Renee Neel; seven
brothers, Frank (Shirley) Kennedy of
Guysville, Melvin (Patricia) Kennedy of
Zanesville, Sanford (Sue) Kennedy of
Guysville, John (Ruth) Kennedy of Glouster,
William Kennedy of Glouster, Roger (Nancy)
Kennedy of Glouster, and Charles (Ann) Kennedy
of Chesterhill; five sisters, Vonda Sue
Williams of Glouster, Elizabeth (Richard)
Evans of New Straitsville, Barbara (Chester)
Tabler of Stewart, Charlene (Stanley) Mayle of
McConnelsville, and Debbie (Gilbert) Fischer
of Malta.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by her husband, Denzel Leach; two sisters,
Jane Kennedy and Peggy Norris; and two
brothers, Emmett and James Kennedy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on
Friday July 3, 2009 at the Morrison Funeral
Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Rev. Clyde
Boring officiating. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the
funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the
