Dwight Hartley Obituary

Dwight E. Hartley 90 of Glouster passed away
Sunday March 7, 2004 at O'Bleness Memorial
Hospital, Athens. He was born October 14, 1913
in Millfield. He was the son of the late
William A. and Clara Kempton Hartley. He was
the husband of the late Alberta "Babe" Hayden

He was the former owner and operator of the
Hartley Clothing Store in Glouster, he was a 60
year member of the Glouster Masonic Lodge #607
F.&A.M. He was also well known for his fishing
skills. He is survived by a son Jerry Hartley,
Glouster, two grandchildren David B. Hartley of
Palm Coast, FL, and Jeri Dee Lewis of
Chandlersville, OH, 5 great grandchildren, 2
sisters, Lorena Sherwood of Athens, and Maxine
Wade of Guysville, and a very special friend
Ida Crisp of Glouster.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter,
1 sister Murriel Pierce, 3 brothers Walter R.
and William V. and Winfield Hartley.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Wednesday March 10, 2004 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel Glouster-Bishopville with John
Wright officiating. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the
Funeral Home on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
