Dorothy Humphrey Obituary

Dorothy M. Humphrey, 82, of Glouster, passed
away Tuesday September 26, 2006 at the O.S.U.
Medical Center, Columbus. She was born April
4, 1924 in Athens County. She was the
daughter of the late James Pete and Mae
Binderbasin Hartley.

She is survived by 2 sons, Rodney (Becky)
Humphrey of Glouster, and Richard (Carol)
Humphrey of Nelsonville; 6 daughters, Judy
(Toni McClelland) Humphrey of Glouster, Paulda
McClellan of Jacksonville, Sharon Young of
Nelsonville, Vickie Braglin of Glouster,
Denise (John) Kish of Mt. Perry, and LeeAnn
(Steve) Moore of Columbus; several
grandchildren;several great grandchildren; 1
great great grandson; 3 sisters, Virginia Deal
of Dayton, Grace Ann Kempton of Jacksonville,
and Pauline Cline of The Plains; and a special
friend Gary Braglin Sr.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by her husband, Russell E. Humphrey who passed
away in 1982; 1 brother, Pete Hartley; and 1
sister, Frances Tippie.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Saturday September 30, 2006 at the Bishopville
Church of Christ. Interment will be in the
Concord Cemetery. Friends may call at the
church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time
of service. Arrangements are by the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. A
