David Tolliver

David Foster Tolliver, 67 of Chauncey passed
away Friday April 10, 2009 at the Riverside
Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Born January 5,
1942 in Nelsonville, he was the son of the
late Foster C. and Faye I. Coalson Tolliver.
He retired from the Athens Mental Health
Center and the Athens County Children's
Services.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Dotson
Tolliver of Chauncey; one son, Michael David
Tolliver of Chauncey; one daughter, Alicia F.
(Chip) Chapman of McArthur; one granddaughter,
Tori Lynn Chapman; one brother, Robert
Tolliver of Fremont; two sisters, Pamela
Harris of Lancaster and Debby Steenrod of
Nelsonville; three sisters-in-law, Marilyn
(Mark) Jordan of Millfield, Sharon (Tim)
Hastings of Athens, and Nancy (Pat) Bulstrom
of Albany; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by a grandson, Richard Allen Chapman; two
sisters, Judith Dawley and June Tolliver.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on
Tuesday April 14, 2009 at the Nelsonville
Wesleyan Church with Pastor Mike Thomas
officiating. Friends may call at the church
on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until the time of
service. Contributions can be made to the
Morrison Funeral Chapel, 6525 State Route 78,
Glouster, Ohio 45732. Arrangements are by the
