David Johnson II Obituary

David A. Johnson II, 40 of Zanesville passed
away Tuesday November 3, 2009 at the Good
Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville. He was born
November 20, 1968 in Canton, Ohio. He was a
graduate of the Zane State College Medical
Assisting Program. He loved to fish and golf
and was an avid Ohio State football fan.

He is survived by his wife of 18 ½ years, Beth
Jordan Johnson who was the love of his life;
four daughters, Miranda (Robert) Spanswick of
Zanesville, Tanaah Johnson of Zanesville,
Audrianna Johnson of St. Louisville, and
Danielle Mayfield of Mt. Vernon; one son,
David Mayfield of St. Louisville; a 13 month
old grandson, Carson Spanswick whom he adored;
his mother, Virginia Johnson of Zanesville;
his father David (Cathy) Johnson of Newark;
five brothers, Lester Johnson of Newark, Lee
Johnson of New Lexington, Jeremy Johnson of
Zanesville, Don Johnson of Newark and Philip
Johnson of Newark; mother and father-in-law,
Charlotte and Vern Hogsett; a special friend,
Tim Dexter; a sister-in-law, Della Jordan;
brothers-in-law, Ronnie (Manu) Jordan and
Nathan Jordan; and several aunts, uncles,
nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal
grandparents, Virginia Rutter Myers and James
Rutter; paternal grandparents, William and
Canzetta Johnson; and a step father, Roger
Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on
Friday November 6, 2009 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with
Pastor Tom Wilson officiating. Friends may
call at the funeral home on Friday one hour
prior to the service. A comforting message
