David Leslie Estep, a beloved son, brother, and friend, was born on June 5, 1975, in Gallipolis, Ohio. He passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
David is survived by his devoted father, James (Jim) Estep, and his loving step mother, Rosemary Estep. He is also remembered fondly by his brothers and sister , Jeremy and Jason Estep, Todd West, and Roxanne Ash will carry his spirit in their hearts forever.
In a poignant reunion, David has joined his mother, Debra Smith, in the embrace of eternal love.
Known for his infectious laughter and radiant smile, Dave had a unique ability to brighten even the darkest of days. He was a true light in the lives of those who knew him, bringing joy and warmth wherever he went. To know David was to feel an overwhelming sense of love and acceptance, a gift he shared generously with everyone around him with his laughter and his happy clap.
David had a passion for life that was evident in his many interests. He found joy in the simple pleasures, whether it was watching birds, swimming, cheering for the Buckeyes, indulging in superhero movies, or embarking on a good shopping trip. His enthusiasm for life was contagious, and he had a remarkable talent for making every moment special.
