David Wesley Dubbs, 70 of Pomeroy, passed away August 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. Born March 24, 1955, in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of the late Jesse and Bonnie Rickie Dubbs.
He is survived by the love of his life, Violet Hayman of Pomeroy; a sister, Mary Sterner of Longview, Washington; a son, David (Courtney) Dubbs of Chauncey; a daughter, Mary Moore of Galveston, Texas; step children, Julie Bondar of Charles Town, WV, John Hunnell of Pomeroy, and Jennifer (Matt) Mullins of Pomeroy; brother-in-law, Clarence Hayman of Lockborne; sisters-in-law, Lisa (Bob) Johnson of Middleport, Valerie (Wayne) Will of New Haven, WV, and June Schoolcraft of Cottageville, WV; a special grandson, Hunter Mullins; and several extended family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Jesse and Richard Dubbs; and a brother, Gene Dubbs.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday August 7, 2025, at the Biram-Hayman Cemetery in Lebanon Township, Meigs County with Bob Johnson officiating.
