Darrell R. Bulstrom, 36 of Glouster went to
his heavenly home on January 18, 2009
surrounded by family and friends after a short
battle with cancer. He was born April 25,
1972 in Athens. He was employed by Kilbarger
Oil Field Service in Logan. He was an avid
hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Smathers
Bulstrom of Glouster; his mother, Shirley
Smith Bulstrom of Trimble; one son, Travis
Bulstrom of the home; one daughter Jessica
Bulstrom of the home; two brothers, Patrick
(Nancy) Bulstrom Jr. of Albany and Daniel
Bulstrom of Trimble; one sister, Barb (Roy)
Hogsett of Summerville, SC; his mother and
father-in-law, John and Linda Smathers of
Trimble; several aunts, uncles, nieces and
nephews, special friends and his Kilbarger
buddies.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Patrick Bulstrom; an infant sister, Patricia;
and grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Saturday January 24, 2009 at the Bishopville
Church of Christ with Keith Putnam
officiating. Interment will be in the Hilltop
Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may call at the
Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville
on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday
from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A comforting
