Daniel Norman Spears III

Daniel Norman Spears III, 2 ½ months old of
New Lexington passed away Sunday August 2,
2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville.
He was born May 22, 2009 at O'Bleness Memorial
Hospital, Athens.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel "Bud"
Spears Jr. and Jessica Simerly both of New
Lexington, formerly of Glouster; one sister,
Trinity Meade; two brothers, Shawn Stepp and
Aiden Spears; maternal grandparents, Vicky (Ed
Sarver) Simerly and Terry (Marcia) Simerly;
paternal grandparents, Karen (Dave) Spears and
Deb Koon; paternal great grandmother, Betty
Elaine Spears; aunts, uncles, and cousins,
Terry (Misty) Simerly and children, Lil Terry
and Felicia, Bruce (Cary) Losey and children,
Andrew and B.J., Justin (Marie) Simerly and
children, Jacob Allen, Gavin, and Abby, Brian
(Mindy) Koon and children, Hayle, Hunter, and
Braden, Kyle Spears, Christina Koon and
children, Kacey and R.J., Bill (Laurie)
Simerly, Brian (Melissa Moller) Simerly and
daughter, Martha, Mandy (Ricky) Hiles, Anthony

He was preceded in death by paternal
grandfather, Daniel Spears Sr.; paternal great
grandmother, Meskle Spears; paternal great
grandfather, Howard Koon; paternal great
grandfather Wesley Spears; maternal great
grandparents, William A. and Thelma Simerly;
and two uncles, Casey Koon and James McAlpin.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Friday August 7, 2009 at the Beechgrove
Cemetery, Perry County. Arrangements are by
the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-
