Daisy D. McClelland

Daisy D. McClelland, 86, of Glouster passed
away Friday January 19, 2007 at her
residence. She was born April 13, 1920 in
Athens. She was the daughter of the late Otto
and Florence North Gill. She was the wife of
the late James S. McClelland. She retired
from the Burr Oak State Park Campground. She
was a past member of the Glouster Moose Lodge
#1197, and the Glouster Eagles #468.

She is survived by sons, Bud (Patty) Vore of
Glouster, Danny (Phyllis) McClelland of
Glouster, Mick (Brenda) McClelland of
Glouster, Tim (Cheryl) McClelland of Columbus,
Charles (Billie) McClelland of Marietta; a
daughter, Mary Bolyard of Glouster; several
grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2
brothers, Willard and Gilbert Gill, both of
Wooster; and 1 sister, June Hickman of
Bolivar, Oh.

Besides her parents and husband, she was
preceded in death by 2 children, Goldie Vore
and Bob McClelland; her first husband,
Glen "Sparky" Vore; and several brothers and
sisters. Funeral services will be held at 6
p.m. on Monday January 22, 2007 at the
Bishopville Church of Christ with Tim
McClelland officiating. A committal service
will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the
Glouster Cemetery. Friends may call at the
Church on Monday from 3 p.m. until the time of
service. Contributions can be made to the
Appalachian Community Hospice, 30 Herrold Ave.
