Clifford Wasko Obituary

Clifford J. Wasko, 65 of Athens passed away
Monday September 17, 2007 at his residence.
Born April 17, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was
the son of the late John and Cecelia Borosky
Wasko. He retired from Hocking College where
he worked as a student advisor. He served in
the Peace Corps in Costa Rica in 1964 and
1965. He graduated from St. Ignatius High
School in Cleveland. He received his
Bachelor's Degree from Marquette University
and his Master's Degree from Ohio University.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Sikora Wasko
of Athens; 2 sons, Gregory and Jeffrey Wasko,
both of Athens; 1 daughter, Cynthia (Jeffrey)
Smell of Bridgeport, WV; and 3 grandchildren,
Myleigh, Brianna, and Ethan Smell.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by 1 brother, Edward Wasko.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday
September 22, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at Christ the
King University Parish, Athens with Father
Martin Holler officiating. A visitation will
be held on Friday at Christ the King
University Parish from 5 to 7 p.m. with a
vigil service held at 7 p.m. A visitation
will also be held on Saturday from 11 a.m.
until the time of service. In lieu of
flowers, contributions can be made to the St.
Vincent De Paul Food Pantry, 75 Stewart St.,
Athens, Ohio 45701. Arrangements are by the
Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-
Bishopville. A comforting message may be sent
