Charles W. Milhoan, 84, of Glouster, passed
away Wednesday December 8, 2004 at the Doctor's
Hospital, Nelsonville, Ohio. He was born
September 25, 1920 in Jacksonville, Ohio. He
was the son of the late Charles W. and Nellie
Householder Milhoan.
He retired from the Athens Mental Health
Center. He was a member of the Glouster Church
of Christ. He was a Past Master of the
Glouster Masonic Lodge #607, past District
Education Officer, Aladdin Temple, Athens
County Shrine Club, Grand Chapter of Royal and
Select Masons of Ohio, Logan Commandery, Order
of Eastern Star, Past Master's Unit of Aladdin
Temple, and White Shrine of Jerusalem. He was
also a WWII Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years,
Charlene Webb Milhoan of Glouster, a son; Nick
Milhoan of Washington, a daughter; Sue Dillon
of Athens, 2 step children; Bryant (Beverly)
Skipper of Glouster, and Paula (Ron) Myers of
Nashville, TN, a brother in law; Harry Taylor
of Glouster, 9 grandchildren; 13 great
grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 3 step
great grandchildren, and several nieces and
nephews, and a special friend Lewis Schoenian,
and a special caregiver Alice Ronk.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by
sisters, Dorothea Smith and Mary Margaret
Taylor.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on
Monday December 13, 2004 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel Glouster-Bishopville with Tim
Seevers officiating. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call
at the funeral home on Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m. where there will be a Masonic Service at
