Charles A. "Muggs" Lowry, 68 of Glouster
passed away Thursday August 10, 2006 at his
residence. He was born May 12, 1938 in
Athens. He was the son of the late Chester
and Roxie Pierce Lowry. He was a 1956
graduate of J.T. High School and was a United
States Army Veteran. He retired from, was a 50
year member, and was past President of the
I.B.E.W. Local #972. He was a member and past
Master of the Trimble Masonic Lodge #557,
Order of Eastern Stars Thea Chapter 192, and
the Bishopville Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Tavan
Lowry of Glouster; 1 son, Steven (Sabrina)
Lowry of Glouster; 1 daughter, Sondra (Bob)
DiFranco of Mentor; 4 grandchildren, Natasha,
Wes, Robyn, and Rudy; 1 brother, David (Della)
Lowry of Millfield; 4 sisters, Lynda (Paul)
Bell of Catonsville, MD.,Jane (Dave) Nogrady
of Chauncey, Betty Dunlevy of Jacksonville,
and Yvonne (Roy) Sawyer of New Concord.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by an infant sister, Aileen Lowry.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m.
Monday August 14, 2006 at the Bishopville
Church of Christ with John Wright
officiating. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery, where a military graveside
service will be conducted by the Combined
Color Guard Unit. Friends may call at the
church on Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. where there
will be a Masonic Service held at 7:30 p.m.
