Charles J. Jennice, 80, of Glouster passed
away Saturday February 11, 2006 at the
Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. He was
born July 20, 1925 in Athens County. He was
the son of the late James and Mary F. Dominico
Jennice. He was a member of the Glouster Holy
Cross Catholic Church. He was a World War II
Marine Veteran.
He is survived by his wife Mary J. Shifflet
Jennice of Glouster; 3 sons, William J.
(Debra) Jennice of Lucasville, Charles A.
(Laura) Jennice of Springsboro, and
Christopher M. (Lori) Skinner of Glouster; 3
daughters, Margaret B. Jennice of Glouster,
Marcia A. (Terry) Simerly of Lancaster, and
Maryann Jennice of The Plains; 17
grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1
sister Jean Bresnen of Columbus; and several
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 great grandson.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2
to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where there will be a
wake service held at 3 p.m. and a military
service conducted by the Combined Color Guard
Unit at 6 p.m. At Charles' request, he will
be cremated following the services.
