Charlene Webb Skipper Milhoan, 82 of Glouster
passed away Tuesday March 25, 2008 at Doctor's
Hospital, Nelsonville. Born January 13, 1926
in Glouster, she was the daughter of the late
Charles and Grace Williams Webb. She was
raised by her grandparents, Henry and Weltha
Williams after the death of her parents. She
was a 1943 graduate of Glouster High School
and was employed as a legal secretary for over
30 years. She was a member of the Glouster
Church of Christ, Past President of Athens
County Democrat Women's Club, a member and
Past Matron of Thea Chapter, Order of Eastern
Star, a member and Past Worthy High Priestess
of White Shrine of Jerusalem and Past
President of Community Benefit Club of
Nelsonville.
She is survived by her son, Bryant (Beverly)
Skipper with whom she made her home in
Glouster; her daughter, Paula (Ron) Myers of
Glouster; 2 step children, Sue Dillon of
Athens and Nicholas Milhoan of Tennessee; 5
grandchildren, Tammy (Alan) Heath of Atlanta,
Kevin Myers (Connie Spahr) of Troy, Mark
(Carole) Myers of Vandalia, Deborah (Brandon)
Kelley of Tennessee, and Brandy Cvetan of
Pickerington; 3 step grandchildren, Matthew
Dillon of Athens, Nicholas (Lacie) Dillon of
Athens, and Nicholas (Peggy) Milhoan of
McConnelsville; a special step granddaughter,
Carolyn Milhoan (Greg Carter) of Glouster; 13
great grandchildren; a very special cousin and
close friend, Wendy Alaniz of Michigan; a
brother-in-law, Harry Taylor of Glouster; a
niece Sally (Bill) Gardner of Athens; and a
daughter-in-love, Vicki Marshall of Glouster.
Besides her parents and grandparents, she was
preceded in death by her husband of 48 years,
Charles Milhoan who passed away in December
2004.
At Charlene's request, she will be cremated
and there will be no services observed.
