Carey Cain Obituary

Carey Ann Cain, 39 of Glouster passed away May
17, 2008 at her residence. She left us for a
better place after a hard fought battle with
cancer. She was born January 2, 1969 in
Athens County. She graduated from Trimble
Local High School. She worked in child care
for several years. She formerly worked at
Jewell's Drive Thru in Glouster and McBee's in
Athens. She was a former member of the
Jacksonville Eagles. Carey was loved by many
near and far.

Carey is survived by the two most important
people in her life, her daughters, Whitnie and
Kristen, both of Glouster; her beloved dog,
Jackson; her father, Jack Cain of
Jacksonville; her step father, Dave McElfresh
of Jacksonville; a brother, Eric (Mindy) Cain
of Glouster; and several aunts, uncles,
nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sally
Hook Cain; maternal grandparents, Tom and Neta
Hook; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Ida
Cain; and a special aunt Susie Cain.

At Carey's request, she will be cremated. A
celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m.
on Saturday May 24, 2008 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Greg
Holbert officiating. Inurnment will be in the
Beechgrove Cemetery, Perry County. Family
will receive friends one hour prior to the
service on Saturday. A comforting message may
