Bryan K. Winland

On Wednesday July 23, 2008, Bryan Keith
Winland passed from life unexpectedly. Bryan
was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on May 9, 1970,
moving to Athens in August 1970. He attended
East and Morrison Elementary, Athens Middle
School and Athens High School. He was a
student at Hocking College School of Culinary
Arts.

Bryan is survived by his parents, Susan
Jarrells Winland of Amesville and Dale K.
Baxter of Solon, Ohio; his brothers, Rick of
Elyria and Scott of Athens; his sister
Jennifer of Amesville; his sister in law,
Kelly Winland of Elyria; two nephews, Nicholas
and Jacob Winland of Elyria; and his extended
family that included, his brother, Kevin
Schmidt of Cleveland, sister Stephanie Baxter
of Solon, his aunt Sarah Jane Mills, Brian and
Susie Blauser, Tracy Duncan, Nathan Brite,
Chris Burgett, Brandon Robinson, Matt Harvey,
and Constance Cain.

Bryan was preceded in passing by his maternal
grandparents, Hershall and Hallie Jarrells of
West Portsmouth, Ohio and his paternal
grandparents, Duncan and Ruth Baxter of
Portsmouth, Ohio.

On Saturday August 2, 2008 there will be a
memorial gathering for friends and family to
celebrate the time shared with Bryan. The
gathering will be held at Unitarian
Fellowship, 184 Longview Heights, Athens from
2 to 5 p.m. Arrangements are by the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. A
