Billy Lee Thomas

Billy Lee Thomas, 73, of Columbus, formerly of
Glouster, passed away Sunday April 9, 2006 at
Doctor's West Hospital, Columbus. He was born
October 26, 1932 in Glouster. He was the son
of the late Ferrell and Hettie Hooper Thomas.
He retired from Ohio University and was a
member of the Glouster Masonic Lodge #607, and
the Trimble Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Garnet Eloise
McElroy Thomas; 1 son, Rick McElroy of Fort
Wayne, IN; 4 daughters, Monia (Jess) Garey of
New Lexington, Billie Jo (Charles) McClelland
of Marietta, Cathye (Chris) Williams of
Albany, and Vickie (Larry) Sprouse of London,
OH; and 5 grandchildren, Kasi, Melissa,
Charles, Chelsey, and Shelby.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by 1 sister, Betty Comstock.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m.
Thursday April 13, 2006 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Rod
and Richard Ross officiating. Interment will
be in the Glouster Cemetery. Friends may call
at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. where there will be a Masonic
Service conducted at 7:30 p.m.
