Andrew Hardy Obituary

Andrew J. Hardy, 84 of Glouster passed away
Sunday August 19, 2007 at the Doctor's West
Hospital, Columbus. Born May 12, 1923 in
Hollister, he was the son of the late Thomas
and Emily Bickley Hardy. He was the husband
of the late Adaline Ponn Hardy. He was a
World War II Army D-Day veteran. He retired
from Carborundum in Logan and operated Hardy's
Dance School in Glouster for 43 years. He was
past President of the Glouster Three Star
Senior Citizens and a member of the Glouster
Masonic Lodge #607.

He is survived by 3 sons, Tom (Kathy) Hardy,
Sam (Carolyn) Hardy, and Charles (Debbie)
Hardy all of Glouster; 1 daughter, Emily
(Steve) Stanley of Glouster; 9 grandchildren;
22 great grandchildren; 1 brother,
Gerald "Jack" Hardy of Mansfield; several
nieces and nephews; and a special friend
Lula "Lou" Russell.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded
in death by 7 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Thursday August 23, 2007 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.
Interment will be in the Hollister Cemetery,
Glouster. Friends may call at the funeral
home on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
