Alvin Hogsett

Alvin L. Hogsett, 68 of Glouster passed away
on Friday February 1, 2008 at the Fairfield
Medical Center, Lancaster. Born December 16,
1939 in Athens County, he was the son of the
late Earl and Lenora North Hogsett. He was an
army veteran.

He is survived by 3 sons, Mr. and Mrs. Roy
Hogsett of Summerville, SC, Mr. and Mrs. Loren
Hogsett of Albany, and Mr. and Mrs. Terry
Hogsett of Guysville; a daughter, Tess (Peter)
Keeman of Summerville, SC; a step son, Timothy
McCallister of Athens; several grandchildren,
great grandchildren, brothers, and sisters;
and best friend and caregiver, Bonnie
Fleming.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by a sister, Pearl Vincent.

Friends may call at the Bishopville Church of
Christ on Saturday February 2, 2008 from 2 to
6 p.m. At Alvin's request, cremation will
follow. Arrangements are by the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. A
