Sharon M. Davis, 82 of Trimble passed away Wednesday April 3, 2024, at her residence. Born March 2, 1942, in Nelsonville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ila Rife. She retired from Hickory Creek after 27 years in dietary services. She was a member of the former Trimble Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Davis of Trimble; a son, Douglas (Denise)Davis Jr. of Williamsburg, VA; a daughter, Lori (Paul) Gorman of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren, Amy (Mike) Sandberg of Virginia, Anthony (Brittany) Davis of Glouster, Alex (Kirbi) Jajczyk of Trimble, and Aaron Jajczyk of Myrtle Beach; step grandchildren, Kayla (Jason) Fillion, Angela Dumbleton, Paul Gorman Jr. and Kyle Gorman; eight great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; two brothers, David (Linda) Rife of Zanesville, and Steve (Beth) Rife of New Lexington; three sisters, Linda (Doug) Newman of New Straitsville, Diane (Don) Eddleblute of Lancaster, and Donna Simpson of California.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Davis who passed away February 21, 1980.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday April 9, 2024, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Jon Hanning officiating. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster.
